Why This Soup is Perfect for Postpartum Recovery

Packed with Essential Nutrients for Healing After Birth:

  • Iron and Magnesium are critical for restoring energy levels and supporting recovery after childbirth. The turkey and gluten-free sausage deliver a hearty dose of these minerals.
  • Choline and Vitamin D are important for optimal brain health and mood regulation. These nutrients are found in egg and chicken broth.
  • Omega-3s, which are found in flaxseed and chia seeds, provide anti-inflammatory benefits that support healing.

Easy to Digest:

This soup is light yet filling, making it easy on sensitive postpartum stomachs.

Quick and Freezer-Friendly:

The recipe makes 6-8 servings, so double it and freeze portions for those extra-tiring days. You'll be glad you have it later after a long day with your newborn when you have a warm, delicious meal ready with no cooking required.

Comfort Food, Reimagined:

Italian wedding soup is a classic for a reason: warm, satisfying, and filled with love. This version amps up the nutrition without sacrificing the cozy factor, providing a comforting embrace during this challenging time.
